This is a 2-day, 7-hour total, Instructor-Led Webinar or Workshop. This course is very important to me, because of my 18 years as a Victim Advocate at the Washoe County DA's Office. But this course is not about the stories of the hundreds of victims I worked with throughout the years, but of the experts involved in their cases.

The terminology in Sex Crimes is very specific. Criminalists, Law Enforcement Professionals, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, Forensic Interviewers, Forensic Toxicologists, Digital Forensic Analysts, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Clinical Social Workers, Victim Advocates, and other Counselors are often called to testify in Sex Cases. These cases can be challenging for Interpreters, who must master the terminology, not just in English, but also in Spanish. We believe that by using the terms repeatedly in different contexts, we can easily memorize them. We do this by using videos, professionally recorded audio, excerpts of podcasts, and different texts from actual Sex cases.
